The Double Travel Titanium takes the Santos Double Travel to an entirely new level. Titanium gives the frame a unique combination of strength, comfort, and durability. Paired with the reliable Rohloff hub and low-maintenance Gates belt drive, it forms a truly lifelong tandem. Thanks to its separable couplings, it is just as easy to transport as it is to ride.
Transporting a tandem?
It doesn’t have to be a challenge
Anyone who has ever traveled with a tandem knows the issue: how do you take such a long bicycle with you? It often doesn’t fit in a car, traveling by train is inconvenient, and flying with it is nearly impossible.
The separable Santos Double Travel makes this much easier. For transport, you split the frame using the BTC couplings. The brake lines and shift cables simply detach from the handlebars and down tube—everything else stays intact. Thanks to the carefully chosen coupling location, the dual belt drive remains fully functional.
The result: a compact package that fits far more easily in a car, train, or airplane. And once you reach your destination, your tandem is back on the road in no time.
Titanium frame
Titanium is lightweight, exceptionally strong, and corrosion-resistant. It naturally dampens vibrations, providing a more comfortable ride—especially on long days in the saddle or on unpaved terrain. Titanium also has an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio, resists fatigue and corrosion, and requires virtually no maintenance. The frame retains its quality and appearance, even after many years of intensive use.

Split frame with Bicycle Torque Coupling (S&S Couplings)
The Santos Double Travel Titanium is equipped with Bicycle Torque Couplings: a proven system used worldwide for many years. These high-quality couplings ensure that your frame remains stiff and strong while riding, yet can be separated within minutes for transport.
With the included titanium tool, you can easily loosen or tighten the couplings. The connection is engineered to perfectly absorb frame forces while leaving the drivetrain unaffected. The result: the freedom to take your tandem anywhere without compromising reliability or ride quality.
Built especially for you
Customization is possible, including options such as additional mounting points. You can also choose components like handlebars, saddles, pedals, and grips. Front and/or rear racks can be mounted as desired. You even choose the colors of components such as the Rohloff hub and SON lighting.

If you want to ride worry-free for tens of thousands of kilometers, choose the reliable and user-friendly internal gearing of Rohloff. It makes the Double Travel a low-maintenance and incredibly durable travel companion.
The Rohloff hub has 14 gears and is available in six colors.
Unique dual belt drive
The Titanium Santos Tandem features a dual Gates belt drive with dual belt tensioners—unique in the tandem world.
A belt is quiet, clean, and low-maintenance, and lasts for many thousands of kilometers before it needs replacing.
