Battery hidden in the frame
At first glance, you wouldn't know the LowStep-E-Neo is an e-bike, thanks to the fully integrated battery within the frame. However, the speed and ease of your ride quickly reveal its electric power. An internal battery is not only stylish but also practical: the battery is better protected against external influences and provides an even more stable feel. Of course, the battery is easy to remove for indoor charging, but that's not a necessity.
Quiet, powerful rear-wheel motor with energy recovery
The LowStep-E-Neo features a motor directly integrated into the rear-wheel, allowing the energy generated during downhill rides to be fed back into the battery. Additionally, the motor is much quieter than a mid-drive motor and provides immediate extra power as soon as you press the pedals. You’ll notice it right away: no jerky starts or delayed responses. The Neodrives motor ensures an unparalleled natural and smooth riding experience.
Pinion
With the Pinion gearbox, you have an extremely large range. You can shift quickly, even when you’re standing still. The transmission is located in the heart of the bike, around the bottom bracket. This low positioning contributes to its great riding characteristics. The gears are protected by a light metal casing, which prevents them from being affected by water and dirt. Combined with a Santos carbon belt, you have a low-maintenance and extremely durable drive.
The range is excellent
How far can you go with this e-bike? That depends entirely on the conditions. Riding up a steep hill with a strong headwind will reduce the range compared to a smooth ride on flat asphalt to work. Fortunately, the battery has a large capacity, allowing you to tackle many challenges together. With the Neodrives App, you can even adjust the motor settings to maximize your distance. Plus, the unique energy recovery feature ensures the battery recharges itself when riding downhill.
Rear-wheel easily removable
The Neodrives motor is the core of a strong rear-wheel with short spokes. Thanks to the Santos quick release, you can easily take the wheel in and out of the bike. This way, you can easily replace your tire yourself if needed.
